Hello! I’m Bekah, the lead photographer of Bekah Braden Photography. I’m a passionate, multi-talented entrepreneur who loves to sing, dance, design, and create. I'm married to my best friend and college sweetheart, Drew, who also happens to be my second shooter! Together, we have two beautiful daughters named Maggie and Jojo!
I’m based out of Central/North Alabama. My sessions primarily take place around the greater Birmingham/North Jefferson area, in locations that are suited to your style and personality. I specialize personal branding photography, portraits, and senior sessions.
My goal during our time together is for you to feel relaxed, have fun, and to walk away feeling extra special! My passion isn’t just about taking quality photos, but to tell a story. Your story.

Where are you based?
I am based in a small town called Hayden, which is in Blount County, AL. Most of my sessions and weddings take place in and around the Greater Birmingham area. I am available for travel upon request.
What equipment do you use?
I shoot digital images with a Canon camera and Canon and Sigma Art lenses.
What is your editing style?
I prefer a clean and crisp, true-to-color style of editing. Trends are fun, but timeless photos never go out of style!
What location should I choose for my lifestyle session?
Choosing a location should be based off your personal tastes. Do you prefer a modern, urban look? A downtown location is perfect for that! Are you more of a rustic, nature lover? Then a wheat field or a woodsy location is what I would recommend. If pretty florals or greenery is your thing, then I say let's go with a garden or a park. And if you're a home-body and want to incorporate your home into your session, then we can do that, too!
Deposits & Payment Options?
All sessions and packages require a signed contract and a non-refundable retainer to secure your booking date. Both digital and paper payment are accepted.
Do I have to order prints through you?
Nope! All photos are delivered through an online gallery which you can download, share and print. I would recommend printing through a professional, online lab to ensure quality and color accuracy.
When will I receive my photos?
Wedding galleries are delivered between 6-8 weeks from the wedding date. All other sessions are delivered within 2 weeks of the session date.
